The Artix Enduro 125cc learner legal motorcycle from Zongshen completely changes our perception of chinese motorcycle quality. We write about chinese motorcycles and scooters every day so we know what horror stories you might have heard in the past but we can happily say that this Enduro bike from Zongshen truly breaks the mould.

It is one of the few chinese motorcycles currently available in the UK that you’ll find an array of branded parts on including the fantastic Showa forks and shocks and Galfer Wave disc brakes. This introduces a whole new playing field for chinese motorcycles because with this bike, Zongshen have managed to maintain their excellent low prices whilst bringing in real value add in terms of better quality parts.

They’ve also taken a leaf out of ‘better design for dummies’ because unlike some of their previous offerings, they’ve really spared no detail in terms of the quality of finish. This is apparent in the newly anodised chain and galfer wave disc brakes, both front and rear. You’ll also notice a slick new chassis with performance-enhancing aerodynamic forms that serve to improve fuel efficiency and, of course, speed.

No summary of a new bike is complete without the customary testosterone-fuelled exploration of speed and performance. The new Artix Enduro from Zongshen comfortably matches everything else in it’s class and price-range when it comes to this aspect and without too much trouble, you can expect to wring 60mph out of this 125cc with it’s 11.7 BHP. A hearty performance, for sure.
